Mr Holyoake’s Address
Sir, —Now that Mr Holyoake has raised the question of party names, it is time to look at his party’s name. After the way it gambled with our country’s economy, and has shown itself to be uncertain, it appears that the National Party got its name from the Grand National. When summed up, it is a big gamble over many hurdles, that leaves most participates out of pocket— Yours, etc., HONEST TOILER. May 31. 1960.
