Rear-Engined Vanwall?
C. A. Vandervell, the millionaire manufacturer of the British Vanwall, is making a radical change of plans for the new cars he is building. Vandervell is reported to have suspended all work on the new Vanwall -and bought a rear-engined Lotus. This will be fitted with a Vanwall engine, and is expected to be ready for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on July 16.
