U.S. Consul To Visit City
Mrs Edith A. Stensby, the second Secretary and Consul at the American Embassy in Wellington. will visit Christchurch On June 20 and 21. She will issue visas to South Island residents who Intend to visit the United States and will be available for •’onsultations at the office of the American consular agent, 311 Manchester street.
Because Mrs Stensby will not visit Christchurch again' for some time. South Island residents who intended applying for visas during the next few months may find it convenient to do so ddring her visit, says the American Embassy.
