Access To New Home

Sir,—“Snake Gully’s” impression of the goat-track access to new subdivision on Murray-Aynsley Hill is quite good, but if the existing dedicated road were abolished, another approach to the top is possible, making available many beautiful and much-sought-after sections. Existing ratepayers could then also have at least a decent access. However, it appears that the Heathcote County Council is more interested in spending ratepayers’ money on Summit road and Takahe drive recreation areas, for which they have recently volunteered responsibility.—Yours, etc., PROGRESS.
