OPAWA-ST. MARTINS PARISH

Assistant Priest Arrives

The Rev. L. K. Dentith has arriver in Christchurch to start his duties as assistant priest in the Anglican parish of Opawa and St. Martins.

Mr Dentith was ordained in 1955 and has served since then ir the parish of Cobden and Runanga in the Nelson diocese. He wiU be connected with both the Church of St Mark and the Church of St. Anne, in Christchurch. Mr Dentith will take a service on Sunday morning and there wiU be a parish welcome on Sunday night.

Miss Alaska Carr was chosen as “Miss Alaska for 1959.”
