BIG INDUSTRIAL CONFERENCE
Delegation From Manufacturers
Eight members of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association will be delegates to the industrial development conference in Wellington from June 13 to June 17.
Messrs J. R. Maddren and R. T. Alston (secretary) will represent the association. Other delegates will be:— Messrs R. G. Pearce (Biscuit Manufacturers’ Association), M. F. O’Brien (Footwear Federation), D. W. Thomas (Furniture Federation), L. H. Govan (Textile and Garment and Shirt and Pyjama Federation), C. H. Stockbridge (Women’s and Girls’ Outerwear Federation) and L. G. Davison (Institute of Packing).
