NEW HOOKER GROUP MOVE
Another Australian Station Deal
Australian Wool Brokers and Products Company, Ltd., a member of L. J. Hooker Investment Corporation, Ltd., pastoral division, has bought Moomin Plains station, 64 miles west of Moree, for about £300,000. The seller was Rowe Bros, and the sale was effected on a walkin, walk-out basis.
It was negotiated by L. J. Hooker, Ltd., and Woodgers and Calthorpe, Ltd. Possession is to be obtained on July 1. Moomin Plains extends over 25,788 acres and carries 16.000 sheep. The property is 16 miles from Glenroy station, already owned by Australian Wool Brokers, and within a 60-mile radius of other sheep stations acquired in the recent W. L. Buckland deal. Australian Wool Brokers was taken over by L. J. Hooker in February this year.
