i Forest Products rose sharplv on Jh. e oj ns 4 C o U > r< i.- u toc K Exchange yesterday to sell at 36s 3d 2s 3d higher than last local sales less than a week ago and 3d up on sales in Auckland on Monday. Trading on change yesterday was steady with prices mainly hrm. There were only two falls. . Ballins Industries, cum dividend, continued to rise with sales at 14s and 14s 7d. N.Z. Breweries firmed 6d to 71s 6d.
New Zealand Insurance rose Is to sell at 655, but a sale of B shares was made Is 9d down at 64s 3d. National Mortgage B went up 2d to 9s 2d. Bank of N.S.W. regained 5s to sell at £35 ss, but E.S. and A Bank eased 3d to 335.
Whjtcombes (53s 6d) rose 6d, while Clyde Industries (1/s), Waltons rights (5s Id) and M.C.P. (7s) were up 3d. Cox Brothers (8s 6d) and Waltons (Ils lid) both rose 2d. Frozen Products firmed Id to 6s 3d.
Stephenson (50s), Ampol cum dividend (1/s), A.W.A- (24s 3d), Email (11s) and Mt. Lyell (6s) sold unchanged.
