New Clock At Eden Park

A huge clock, standing about 12ft high, will be erected on the top of the No. 3 stand at Eden Park, Auckland. The clock, the two faces of which will point toward the Sandringham road end of the field and the scoreboard end, will be electrically operated and will tell the time and not the elapsed time of the matches played at the park. The faces and hands have had to be specially reinforced to withstand the strong winds it will face in the exposed position.
