NEW PREMISES FOR HALSWELL P.O.

The Halswell Post Office will be transferred on June 1 to new premises in a block of shops at the corner of Sparks road and Pattison avenue. Full post office facilities, including the delivery of telegrams will be available and two postmen’s rounds will be based in the office.

Hours of business will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, but" closed from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. for lunch. The office will also be open from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays. Mr C. D. Le Comte will be the postmaster.
