Golf N.Z. TASMAN CUP SQUAD

Training School At Hokowhitu

(New Zealand Press Association; PALMERSTON NORTH. May 18. The first school for women golfers elected last year to train far this year’s Tasman Cup match, to be played at Christchurch in October, commenced this morning at the Hokowhitu course under the assistant professional. M. Busk. Ten players were selected and the school has been divided into two sections with five in each. This week Misses N. Campbell (Nelson) and U. Wickham (Tauranga), and Mesdames P. McDiarmid (Hamilton), R. Middleton (Matamata), and J. Mangan (Manawatu) are in attendance. Those to attend next week are Mrs V. Land (Wellington), and Misses P. Bull (Christchurch), S. Grigg (Christchurch), M. Stitchbury (Auckland), and A. Nash (Manawatu). Miss Stitchbu y has replaced Mrs i. Laugeson, who is not available.
