Richmond W.M.C. Loses To Pioneer
In the third round of the Canterbury Amateur Billiards Association's tater-club A grade section competition Pioneer scored a 2-1 victory over Richmond W.M.C. D. Higgins narrowly beat T. Yesberg in a game in which neither player was able ta gam definite superiority. When Higgins scored the winning points Yesberg was only 11 points behind. C. Kelly surprised by scoring a runaway win over G. Cormack, and E. Greaves went down to the more experienced M. Cook. Simons (Post Office) recorded the highest break for this season when he compiled a 74 unfinished against K. Murphy (Fitzgerald House).
