Youth Stabbed At Dunedin Dance

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 15. A youth was stabbed in the shoulder during a disturbance at the Dunedin town hall dance on Saturday night. Dancers, spectators and band members rushed to the scene of the fight when it became known that a knife had been used. It appeared as if a brawl was going to develop but a member of the staff in charge of the dance stopped the fight and the hall was closed.
