NO U.S. TRIP FOR TULLOCH

No reason has been given for the decision by Tulloch’s connexions to abandon plans to take the New Zealand-bred champion to America for the rich Hollywood Gold Cup meeting in July. The trainer Tom Smith contacted officials of the Hollywood Park Club at the week-end and asked them to scratch Tulloch from the three big races for which he had been entered. These included the 100.000dollar Hollywood Park Gold Cup. to be run on July 16. Smith said last night Tulloch would now have his next start jin the weisht-for-age P J. O'Shea I Stakes <IOJ furlongs) at Eagle (Farm on Saturday. June 11.
