Final Appeal For Chessman

Two cablegrams complaining of ‘‘inhuman treatment,” and asking for a reprieve for Caryl Chessman were sent to the Governor of California and Chessman’s lawyers in Sacramento during the week-end. The cablegrams werfe sent by the secretary of the Save Chessman Committee (Mr W. J. D. McFaul). “This is the final burst before his execution tomorrow," said Mr McFaul yesterday.
