SHIP STRIKES REEF

The 2300-ton coastal freighter. Dandenong, which struck a reef off F ngal Heads, 70 miles south of Brisbane yesterday, berthed safely in Brisbane today. The Deputy Director of the Shipping and Transport Department, Captain W. B. Nicholson, said today that the reef the Dandenong struck might be unchartered.
