CARAVAN CLUB RALLY

Two Week-Ends At Hanmer Camp

The last rally of the year for the Automobile Association (Canterbury) Caravan Club was held at Hanmer Springs beginning at Easter and ending on Anzac Day. Two hundred and twenty persons with 55 caravans were present during Easter week-end snd 165 persons with 41 caravans were present on the second week-end. The rally captains were Mr B. T. Cocks and Mr W. M. Wright An Easter Sunday family service was conducted by Mr K. Noonan and Mr G. F. Moonlight Results of the annua! tenniquoit competitions were: Men's championship. A. R. Black; women's championship, Mrs I. Thomas; intermediate boys, I. Ragg; intermediate girls. A. Noonan: junior boys, R Black; junior girls, J. Smith. The club’B Anzac Day service was conducted by the president (Mr K Noonan) assisted by Mr W. B. Cox. A special community morning tea. which six members of the Automobile Association (South Canterbury) attended, ended the rallv.
