SHIFTING TROOPS BY AIR

R.N.Z.A.F. Course For Army Officers (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 1. Eighteen officers of the Regular Army brigade group begin a course tomorrow at Whenuapai In the techniques of shifting forces by air. The course, arranged on a joint basis with the Royal New Zealand Air Force, will be the first of its kind held in this country. The officers attending the course are known as unit emplaning officers. Later, they will prepare and train brigade units in the procedures of moving equipment and troops by air. A similar course is planned for August when non-commissioned officers will be trained as aircraft loaders.
