TROTTING Estelle May Beat Trotters At Forbury

The Springston mare Estelle, second to Gay Flame over two miles at Addington at her last start, may gain her first win for the season in the Dunedin Handicap at Forbury today. The Dunedin Handicap is a £650 race for trotters run over

a mile and a half on the first day of the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting. Estelle will start from the 24yd mark, on which she has drawn No. 2.

Billy Again and Kaboon are the most likely to test Estelle. Billy Again lost a winning chance in Gay Flame’s race when he

broke near the two furlongs. At his previous start he beat Merry Nora and Kaboon in the 13furlong Spreydon Handicap on the first day at Addington. Kaboon raced only once at the meeting, so he will have had time to freshen up. The double will be on the Winter and the Beach Handicaps. Smokeaway is fancied for the first leg and Couthie, Queen Ngaio and Elope are a likely trio in the second. The weather has been good and the prospect is for a fast track.
