Capping Magazine Campaign

Four thousand capping magazines and 20 sellers left Christchurch on the 2.20 a.m. rail-car for the West Coast this morning The Greymouth Borough Council has lifted the ban it imposed on sales last year, and Westport and Hokitika Borough Council have also given permission for sales in their respective towns. The haka party will be in support. The two parties of sellers for Nelson and Blenheim left in minibuses yesterday morning, and will be selling in those two towns, as well as Picton, today. Eighteen sellers, with 5000 copies, will concentrate on Nelson, while 18 sellers with 2500 copies will, cover Blenheim and Picton.
