Power Cyclists Injured
Two power cyclists, knocked down by cars, were treated for injuries at the Christchurch Public Hospital yesterday. Mr James Alaistair CourtPatience, 43 Willryan avenue, suffered multiple abrasions after a collision at the corner of Fitzgerald avenue and St. Asaph street at 7.55 a.m., but was allowed to go home. Mr Patrick Plunket. 16 Rossmore terrace, was admitted to hospital with head injuries and abrasions after a collision on Harper avenue at 6.45 pm. His condition was reported as satisfactory.
