Hockey N.Z. WOMEN’S TEAM

Tour Of Victoria And New South Wales

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 11.

A New Zealand women'* hockey team will tour Victoria and New South Wale* from July to September. Thi* was announced < today by the New Zealand Women’* Hockey Association. The final Itinerary has not yet been prepared. The team 1* to leave for Australia on July 20 and to return on September 8. The team’s main objective will be participation In the Inter-state jubilee tournament to be held at Sydney from August 28 to September 3. Trial* will be held at the Queen’s Birthday week-end. and the team will be announced later In June. The team will be selected by Mesdames A. Goodger (Auckland) and C. A. Scott (Dunedin) and Miss Wilkins (Wellington). Hie manager and assistant manager will be named at the annual meeting of the association on April 23.
