NASSELLA TUSSOCK CONTROL
Five-Year Plan For Board A five-year plan to tackle all known infestations of nassella tussock in the North Canterbury Nassella Tussock Board’s district is well under way and proposals from a special sub-committee will be put forward at the annual general meeting of the board on April 28. The board was informed of this at its meeting at Waikari on Thursday. The programme envisaged includes the present excluded area in the Teviotdale-Waipara area and the north-east corner of the Kowai county on which work has begun with cultivation of ploughable land and “kill” spraying of inaccessible gullies and faces.
