FRENCH CLUB MEETS

The French Club in Christchurch held its March meeting recently. Mrs I. M. Lough and Mr J. C. Benson presented a biographical sketch on the life of Jean-Henri Fabre, French entomologist and contemporary of Charles Darwin. Miss A. Just, recently back from Europe, showed slides and described the Swiss alpine village of Schultz. Mrs J. T. S. Buchan conducted a novel quiz.
