Nodder Cup Tennis.— Taranaki retained the Nodder Cup for the third year in succession by defeating Wanganui in a 'junior representative tennis match at Hawera on Saturday.—(P.A.). Young Girl Injured.— A young girl, Wendy Woods, of 19 Gibbon street, Sydenham, suffered minor leg injuries and shock when she ran out on to Wilsons road after coming from church and was struck by a car early yesterday afternoon. She was treated at the casualty department of the Christchurch Hospital and sent home.
