(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 27. Miss Beverley Weigel enhanced her hopes of selection in the New Zealand team to compete at the Olympic Games by jumping 20ft 2Jin on Saturday. She was competing by invitation at a meeting between the Auckland centre and combined services at Massey Park, Papakura. The jump would have been even more impressive in >°ngth had not Miss Weigel unbala.iced and fallen back. This cost her three or four inches in the jump.
