Bartlett Considering Offer

(New Zealand Press Association) BLENHEIM, March 27. G. Bartlett, the Marlborough and New Zealand pace bowler, is still considering an offer from an Australian concern to transfer his carpenter’s apprenticeship to them so that he may play cricket in Australia and take advantage of specialist coaching. Bartlett said he was seeking advice from leading New Zealand cricket authorities. Details of the offer are still to be clarified. Bartlett Still has two years of his five-year apprenticeship to serve.
