Sir, —Three cheers to the police for using batons on Saturday night. Instead of criticising, the public should help the police and be thankful we have them to keep law and order. They do a great job, and apparently with no thanks from a certain section of the community.—Yours, etc., . HORNBY RESIDENT. March 22, 1960.
