Cook Fined £100 For Smuggling

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 23. The chief cook of the overseas vessel Crusader, Chin Jan Hsin, aged 36, was fined £lOO by Mr J. B. Thomson, S.M., after pleading guilty in the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington today to a charge of smuggling one transistor radio off the ship in Wellington on Monday night.
