CANADAS WHEAT EXPORTS

increase In Recent Months (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) OTTAWA, March 22. The Canadian Bureau of Statistics today reported that Canadian exports of wheat during the six months ended January last totalled 151.1 m bushels. This represented 35 per cent, of total exports by the four main exporters, Canada, the United States, Australia, and Argentina. The bureau said this was a gain of 6.9 m bushels from a year earlier' The increase occurred in the face of a decline in total exports by the four, to 433.7 m bushels from 443.1 m bushels. Australia increased its exports to 56.3 m buShels from 33.3 m bushels, and its shares of the market rose to 13 per cent, from eight, the bureau said.
