R.S.A. OFFICERS ELECTED

Mr A. S. Farrar Again President Mr A. S. Farrar was last evening confirmed in office for his fourth term as president of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association. The election of other officers of the association, after a postal ballot, was announced as follows: Vice-president, Mr T. McCormick; executive committee, Messrs D. Barrett, S. A. Coleman, Farrar, J. Green, D. Harland, G. D. Hattaway, McCormick, T. J. Kirk-Burnnand, G. McMillan, R. A. Nightingale, and R. A. Robertson, and Miss M. E. Rae; treasurer, Mr Coleman. To a question the president said that the election had been decided on a ballot of 1402 votes from 8200 voting papers issued. The elections were subject to an official recount, he said.
