SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

Victoria University Graduate (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 23. The B.P. scholarship, which is awarded annually to a graduate from a New Zealand university has been awarded for 1960 to Mr J. A. Erdos, of Victoria University. The scholarship, for one to three years, is valued at £4OO per annum, and is normally awarded to the candidate with an outstanding record and ability in the sciences. Mr Erdos, who is 21, has been studying for the Jast three years at Victoria University. He obtained a B.Sc. in 1959. He is at present studying for an M.Sc. in mathematics.
