BELGRADE, March 13

A medium-strength earthquake struck Jugoslav Macedonia yesterday, destroying buildings, killing a woman in a' village about 15 miles from the Albanian border, and injured about 30 other persons.

In Tetovo, near Skopje, the Macedonian capital, 23 workers were injured when part of a textile factory collapsed during the six-second earthquake. Reports said that 70 per cent, of the houses in Tetovo were damaged, many seriously. Other Macedonian towns and villages reported houses destroyed or damaged.

About 10 persons were injured in Tetovo when they jumped through windows of their homes when the earthquake started. Four tremors lasting between two and six seconds shook the region between noon and 3 p m.
