Foundation Fellowship, was in Christchurch at the week-end for the conference of the Rotary District 298 (South Island). “In these times, when technological developments have surpassed our social scales, we need i more serious study of what makes the individual tick.” she said.

She had recently developed a keen interest in international politics, she said, and although a registered nurse, she thought she could be of more use at international conference tables.

“We need to do some serious thinking about individual reactions,” she said. Miss Hannaman recently spent six months working in a psychiatric hospital in London. Now she will use her knowledge of psychology in a political field.
