Fund For Earthquake Victims
Another cable reporting conditions in Agadir has been received by the president of the Save the Children Fund (Miss M. G. Havelaar).
This cable says that the situation is very desperate. There are 6000 children who have survived the earthquake. The majority of these are with relatives, but all are living in camps.
Miss Havelaar’s fund has now reached £3OO.
The North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society is also conducting an appeal, and the president of the centre (Mrs R. I. Brake) said that the fund has now reached [asm.
