Rugby Hanmer Springs Club
At the annual meeting of the Hanmer Springs Rugby Football Club the following officers and committee were elected:— Patron, Mrs M. L. Morse; president, Mr W. E. C. Chapman; vicepresidents, 10 were elected; secretary,, Mr L. R. Stace; treasurer and trustee, Mr F. D. Hazeldine; committee, Messrs R. M. Brooke, R. Bull, J. Hammond, and M. Eekout; coaches, Messrs D. McAuliffe and R. Fitzgibbon; club captain, Mr G. Elson; delegate to Hurunui Sub-Union, Mr D. McAuliffe; custodian, Mr W. E. C. Chapman. It was decided that the club should affiliate with the Hurunui Rugby Sub-Union.
