Caduceus Parades At Washdyke

Caduceus, which will leave for a campaign in the United States next month, received a wonderful reception when he was paraded after the running of the Timaru Nursery Stakes at Washdyke on Saturday. The winner of the recent InterDominion Championship Grand Final at Harold Park was given two runs through the straight by his trainer, J. D. Litten, and he hit out keenly on the heavy track. Caduceus looked to have done particularly well since returning to New Zealand a fortnight earlier. A presentation to the owners of the horse, Messrs D. D. and D. R. Moore, was made by the president of the Timaru Trotting Club (Mr E. D. Mcßae).
