New, Revolutionary Footwear For ' School Children A new range of children’s footwear, which it is claimed, will only be outworn, and not worn out, has come on to the market from the Bata Shoe Company. The range is called Bata D.V.P. Superstrong Footwear. This new range is manufactured by a special direct vulcanisation process, but differs from any other footwear of like or similar name. There are no seams, stitches or adhesive. The machinery that Bata uses actually welds the sole to the uppers under extreme pressure to make an inseparable bonding of the two This machinery is designed by and exclusive to Bata. Advantages claimed are, that from the start. Bata D.V.P. Sunerstrong Shoes are completely flexible. and give longer and absolutely waterproof wear because there are no seams to leak, no sole stitches to rot, and no adhesive to deteriorate. The Wellington Housewives’ Association use-tested the new shoes and endorsed them sa having “exceeded expectations.” —Advt.
