STOWAWAY CAUGHT
Youth Found In Sydney
(N 2 Press Association -(Jonvrujnt) SYDNEY, March 3. The 16-year-old New Zealand stowaway who escaped from custody on February 22 and was later seen disguised as a girl has been recaptured. The youth, who escaped from the immigration detention barracks at Manly, was recaptured last night at Kings Cross. He was wearing men’s clothes and was looking in a shop window when he was recognised and arrested. The youth was dressed as a woman when he was found as a stowaway aboard the Monowai. He has been returned to the immigration barracks to await deportation to New Zealand.
