Christchurch Screenings Two Billy Graham films will be shown in the Civic Theatre in Christchurch this month. "Southern Cross Crusade” is a record of the evangelistic crusade in Australia and New Zealand. It was produced in Australia for the Billy Graham Films Organisation and covers the three months and a half of the crusade which was attended by more than 3.000,000 people and had 145,000 inquirers. Scenes from the crusades in Adelaide. Brisbane, Perth, Auckland. Wellington and Christchurch are shown, before scenes of natives in Fiji and New Guinea hearing the evangelist by tape recordings. The film lasts 70 minutes. “The Heart Is A Rebel” stars several experienced American actors and actresses. Ethel Waters appears in the role of a nurse who exerts an influence on a young married couple who are estranged through the wife’s faith. Georgia Lee, whose last film was “Wiretrappers,” and John Milford play the young couple. Scotty Morrow is cast as their

ailing son. Jane Withers, once a child star, is also in the film. The film provides a close view of the Graham team at Madison Square Garden, New York.

George Beverly Shea and the crusade choir are included in the film, which is a feature length production.
