“10,000 Between 00 And 110”

LONDON, March 4. More than 10,000 people living in the Soviet Republic of Georgia are between 90 and 110 years old Moscow Radio reported. The Georgia Ministry of Health the radio said, was in touch with two men aged 132 and 125. But 65 per cent, of those above 100 were women.

The director of the Georgis Institute of Labour, Hygiene and Professional Diseases said his conclusion was that it was not very difficult to live to be 100.
