ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO MURDER

Accused Remanded To Auckland

(Neto Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 3.

Richard Adolphus Power, aged 31, a workman, was to-day charged before Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M., with attempting to murder Mrs Nancy Power, aged 33, a Pacific Islander, yesterday. Power was born in Jersey, Channel Islands. Mrs Power was taken to the Auckland Hospital late last night suffering from a deep stab wound. Her condition to-day was reported to be critical. Power was remanded until March 10.
