Junior Air League
The inaugural meeting of the junior league of the Air League of New Zealand will be held today. This will be the first of regular monthly meetings for junior members. . The president of the Christchurch branch of the Air League (Mr H. Foster) said that the aim of the junior league was to mould public opinion from an early age, and to build up juniors with an informed opinion of public affairs with regard to aviation.
‘•lnstead of just the child’s interest in the Air Force will be be shown many other aspects of aviation,” said Mr Foster ; . i The juniors Will be taken as often as possible to places of interest in the aviation field, for example, the N.A.C. workshops at Harewood.
