Stopwork Meeting Cancelled
A stopwork meeting to have been called yesterday at the New Zealand Refrigerating Company’s Islington works in the dispute on the minimum payment for waiting time had been cancelled at the request of the company and pending further negotiations, Mr T. Handisides, secretary of the Canterbury Freezing Workers’ Union, said yesterday.
