He said he had discussed the plan with five owners, and from the outcome was confident he would have no trouble getting 10 suitable horses to make the trip. Mr Ryder has made tentative plans for the Australian horses if their owners want them to return. “They could go on to race in New York, then across to England, where they could go into quarantine for six months." he said. Mr Ryder would not disclose the names of the horses.
