Indian-Chinese Talks On Border Dispute Sought

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) NEW DELHI, February 16. Th e Indian Prime Minister, Mr Nehru, has suggested that the Chinese Prime Minister (Mr Chou En-lai) come to New Delhi next month to discuss the Chinese-Indian border dispute, it was announced today. Mr Nehru suggested in a letter that Mr Chou should make the visit in the second half of next month to make “every effort to explore avenues which might lead to a peaceful settlement” of the dispute.
