Shark Attacks Schoolboy

(Rec. 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 17. A shark badly mauled 13-year-old Ken Murray in Middle Harbour, near a Sydney picnic ground, yesterday. The boy is in Royal North Shore Hospital with injuries to both legs and body and very severe shock. Doctors are trying to save his right leg. The shark attacked while Murray was spearfishing with a friend in shallow water. The friend risked his life to pull Murray ashore, and he also is in Royal North Shore Hospital, suffering from severe shock.
