New Line To Trade To N.Z.
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 13.
Ships of the Indo-China Steam Navigation Company will make direct calls to Wellington for a six months trial period from February The company’s Eastern Star and Eastern Argosy at present call only at Auckland on their Asian-Australia-New Zealand service.
The Eastern Argosy and the Eastern Star have refrigerated as well as general cargo space and each has accommodation for 12 passengers.
The ships are on six-weekly schedules from Japan, Hong Kong, Borneo, and Australian ports to New Zealand.
