MINISTERS NEEDED FOR CHURCH

Moderator’s Appeal To Youth (New Zealand Press Association) GREYMOUTH, December 28. "We want ministers, missionaries and deaconesses. There were 11 who entered and are going through Theological Hall this year, compared with 20 last year and over recent years. We must have 20 each year, but what are you going to do about it?” These words were spoken by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, the Rt. Rev. A. D. Hotwell, in his sermon at the opening of the Dominion Summer Youth Conference of the Presbyterian Church, in the Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, last night. “It is up to you to do it. I am too old. The time is right for you young people to take over your responsibility, and get on with the job that we have failed to do,” he added.
