NORTH BEACH BUS SERVICE

Extension To Pacific Road Planned The Christchurch Transport Board is extending its North Beach route from the present terminus at Marine parade to Pacific road on Monday, December 21, to provide workers’, shoppers’ and picture trips. Copies of the timetable of trips on the extension have been distributed to householders in the district. They are also available on North Beach buses and from the board’s offices.

From Monday to Friday the buses will depart from the Square at 7.13 a.m., 7.52 a.m., 8.50 a.m., 11.20 a.m., 12.30 p.m., 1.20 p.m., 5.03 p.m., 6.30 p.m., and 10.55 p.m. On Friday there will be a bus at 9.02 p.m. as well. Buses will arrive at Pacific road about 30 minutes later.
